21-day challenge: bathroom

We have been steadily working on our home and making our spaces more organized. This week, we decided to work on organizing our bathroom.

Michael’s side of the vanity looked great.

And so did the girl’s cabinet:

But mine? Mine was looking like this:

I couldn’t find a thing and there were items in here I hadn’t used in years.

I sorted out the items I didn’t use and threw away several things. Then, I used one of the vanity drawers to store my hair related products.

And I sorted the remainder of my products into two categories: extras, and things I use daily.

Everything you see in the photo above is used at least every other day.

The extra items were stored in the linen closet.

Now my side of the vanity looks like this:

I can find what I need and I’m not having to sort through things I don’t use to find what I need.

Here’s what’s still to come on the 21-day challenge:

This week, we’re organizing the home office, fridge and freezer, under the beds, craft supplies and medications.

Come back tomorrow for an organized home office.

  1. Hey,

I recently came across your site and I’m wondering if I can post one of my articles here.

I’ve been writing up home improvement articles too and would love the chance to write
on your blog but I couldn’t manage to find your email. If you could get a hold of me at ikatie.jones@outlook.com?, I would greatly appreciate it.
