24 Days of Christmas: Fourth Sunday of Advent

The fourth Sunday is upon us. Today, we will light the fourth candle, also known as the “angel candle.” The angel candle reminds us of the angel who announced the good news of our Savior’s birth, and it represents peace: the angel’s message was “peace on Earth and good will toward men.”

As you light your fourth candle tonight, read the following verses in John 3:16-17:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.”

This Sunday, let’s thank God for sending us peace in the form of His Son, our Savior.
