24 Days of Christmas kick-off: Waterless Snowglobe Ornaments

Hooo boy, I can’t believe it’s already Christmas time. While this year will certainly be different and a little less joyous, we are going to try to make it a good one.

How excited am I to bring you 24 Days of Christmas ideas, recipes, crafts, tours…oh yeah, did I mention the crafts? Hold on tight, ‘cause we are going to have some fun.

Last year I showed you some DIY ornament ideas, but this one is my favorite.

I love these “waterless snow globes” because they’re cute, easy, and cheap.

First, buy some clear plastic ornaments, tacky glue, epsom salt and bottle brush trees. The teeny- tiny bottle brush trees.

Put a dab of tacky glue on the base of your teeny tiny tree.

Use Tweezers or long pliers to affix the tree base to the bottom of the Christmas ball. Let it dry for 24 hours.

Then, once the glue has dried, add the epsom salt.

I told you they were cute and easy. You could get creative with these and add tiny people, animals, or even add glitter or tinsel to the epsom salt. Anything that will fit into the tiny little opening at the ornament top.

But I like them with just the tree and the snow.

Have a great week! Up next: Making an advent wreath.
