I recently switched from a small handbag to a midsized tote. Yes, it is a bit bigger than a conventional post but it holds so much.
The problem with having a large tote is there are no pockets and things can get lost easily. The solution? Cosmetic organizers.
First, I simplified things by removing anything I didn’t need it use daily. I then organized them by category and put them in the cosmetic pouches.
1. Contents: Writing utensils, a small notebook and my Smart phone
2. My cosmetics. Foundation, lotion, lipstick, eye shadow, eye liner and hairspray
3. My wallet. Also contains my check book
4. Health and safety. This contains medicines, bandaids, Neosporin, tissues, and a nail care kit
5. Girl stuff. ’nuff said.
6. My diabetes care kit.
Not pictured is a small wristlet that matches my bag. It holds my keys and hand sanitizer.
I cannot tell you how much easier this has made my life. I can find anything now and I’m not carrying around all that extra mess.
What small organizing project has changed your life recently?
