Terrific Give-aways Tuesday

Disclaimer: I was not financially compensated for this post. I received a sample for review purposes. The opinions are completely my own based on my experience.

I have been struggling with lower back pain for about five years now. I have gone to a back specialist, physical therapist, and have taken prescription medicines to manage the pain. Each of these things would bring temporary relief, but soon, I’d once again find myself in pain.

Last month, I partnered with LeWonde Healthcare, and they sent me a Back Plus. The LeWonde Back Plus is lightweight, easy to assemble, and is designed with massage nodes and accupress points to relieve your aching back.

The Back Plus can be used as a lumbar spine support- its curved design actually presses your spine forward into the correct alignment, which supports your lumbar spine AND corrects your posture. Using the Back Plus as a spine supporter has really helped with my lower back pain.

There are other uses for the Back Plus, too. You can lie on it and stretch your spine, which decompresses your spine and improves your flexibility. I feel like my back has definitely become less stiff just in the month I’ve been using the Back Plus.

LeWonde Back Plus can help stop your back pain, maintain the right sitting posture, retrieve your confidence and obtain the best productivity you can. For more information, or to order your own Back Plus, go to this link.

Enter the giveaway below to win your own LeWonde Back Plus! Winner will be announced tomorrow.

Make Something Monday: DIY storage boxes

Get ready to see the easiest DIY ever.

We have a lot of need for small storage at our home but small storage can be costly. We DIY whatever we can from shoe boxes and diaper boxes.

These boxes were created from old shoeboxes for my daughter’s new desk.

It’s so easy: first, get a few old shoeboxes, some bookplates and some modge podge. You can use cloth instead of paper if you’d like.

Then, wrap your box with the cloth or paper, as though you are wrapping a present. Remember to glue as you go.

Then, after you’ve got all of your boxes and lids covered, add your bookplates. I Like to put the lids on and sit the bookplate on it without actually attaching it. I do this so I can make sure I like the placement before I make it permanent 🙂

If you like the bookplate placement, punch holes, push the fasteners through and fold them back.

And then you’ll have some brand new desk boxes.

Make it Monday: Free printable home maintenance checklist

We have certain regular tasks we do to keep our home looking nice inside and out.

Because there are so many of these tasks, we need a checklist so we remember them all. …and we need to remember whether we’ve already done them.

I simply print two copies- one for the fridge and a 5×7 copy that I attach to my planner.

I have attached a free printable checklist for you so you can see how we keep up with our regular household chores. To print, simply right click, and save to your device.

Have a wonderful week!

Sunday Scripture: Lamentations 3:22

Lamentations 3:22: “It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning; great is thy faithfulness.”

This verse is special to us for a number of reasons.  We have dealt with a few trials, and as bad as we’ve hurt at times, we have always felt the Lord beside us.

After the loss of our second pregnancy, I was depressed and upset. I did a lot of crying and hurting but I also did lots of praying.

I recall driving to work one morning and asking the Lord if I’d ever have another child. I can’t explain it but I felt this peace wash over me.

The Lord is faithful, and great is his faithfulness. I thought you might like these two Printables to help remind us that God’s faithfulness is GREAT!!

Free Christmas printable: angels we have heard on high

I got so many sweet responses from you guys concerning my “Merry and Bright” printable and my chalkboard printable that I decided to make another. This is one of my favorite hymns and Christmas carol, as it sounds so pretty when sung by a choir. It’s also my favorite because it pertains to the angels telling the shepherds about the birth of our Savior. I hope you’ll love this “angels we have heard on high” printable.

Just like always, just click on the picture and save it to your device. It will print best at 8X10 or smaller.

Thanks so much!

Have a wonderful Friday tomorrow!!

Free chalkboard printable: “For unto you is born this day…”

I don’t know about you, but my favorite Scriptural account of the birth of Jesus is found in Luke. I’ve read Matthew’s account many times, but there is just something about how Luke wrote it that just makes me love it.

Too often this time of year, we get caught up in the “magic” of the season rather than the “meaning.” I’m certainly guilty of getting caught up in my Christmas trees, gift giving, and the material aspects of Christmas that I forget all about the real reason for Christmas: the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

I created a chalkboard printable to remind myself that Jesus is the real reason for Christmas. It isn’t gifts, pretty decorations, or even the spirit of giving and fellowship. It’s the birth of our risen Savior Jesus Christ.

To download the printable, please right click on it and save it to your device.

For unto us a child is born

Free printable: Merry and Bright banner

I love a good Christmas banner.  I also love DIY and making things.

I got the idea for this super cute DIY Christmas banner when I shared my family photo ideas last week.

I decided to make it myself and then share the printable with you, for free.

I created the banner using MS Word.  Then I printed it on cardstock and cut it out.

Then, I punched holes in each circle and strung them onto a piece of twine.

Here are some different ways to use this banner:

Here it is on our playroom shelf.Excuse the mess. We are in the midst of decluttering this room.

Or as a picture prop:

Err..it’s probably better to use a banner this long with more than one person.

I made two styles of the banner, and both are available for free download below.

To download, just click the links below and save to your computer.
