Farmhouse Fridays: Typographic signs

I don’t know about you but I love farmhouse signs…especially true vintage or antique signs. Like most people I lack the money to buy real antique signs so I have to make do with store bought reproductions or DIY them.

Here are a few of my current favorites from various retailers:

Target

Hobby Lobby

Magnolia Market

Smallwoods Home
I hope you’ve enjoyed the round up! Have a great Friday.

Wordfull Wednesday

Boy, does today’s quote ring true!!

I don’t know about you, but I notice more and more that our culture is obsessed with me, me, and me. I don’t mean that our world is obsessed with me, but well, oneself.

It just seems like in a world where we ought to be building up other people, we’re all about making ourselves look good. Thankfully, not everyone is like this.

Did you know that sometimes we are on the opposite end of the spectrum and we belittle ourselves instead?

There’s nothing wrong with putting others before ourselves; in fact, that’s what humility is. That is what we ought to do. At the same time, we shouldn’t ignore our own needs.

It is perfectly ok to be grateful for what you have and what we can do. It’s perfectly ok to put others first, but this week, I’m going to try to think of myself less instead of think less of myself.

Happy Wednesday my friends.

A farmhouse gallery wall…revealed

Last week, we published this post to ask your advice about our living room gallery wall.

You guys even helped make our decision by participating in my poll.

And after mulling it over for a bit, we chose to do this:

I love that cute little B on the top right, but I feel like it doesn’t really go with the rest of the gallery. I will probably change it out, but for now, isn’t this wall a hundred times better?

Have a wonderful week.
