Christmas 2015- Outdoors

This year, we decided to keep it simple. We went with Christmas wreaths on the outside of the windows. We’ve been having issues with our suction cups this year, so several of our wreaths have fallen off the windows and had to be put back up. For this reason, we didn’t put the wreath on the garage attic window. Fun fact: the yellow mutt that is photo bombing is none other than my canine son, Bear. He just turned ten but he’s still a puppy at heart. Here he is pictured with his tennis ball, hoping I’ll stop taking pics and play with him.

There are also candles in each of the windows on the inside. Here is what out house looks like at night.

Our tiny front stoop is a decorating conundrum. It’s far too narrow for the porch trees we used to have at our old house. DSC_0080

Note: These are real candles with a real flame just for the picture- I don’t leave lit candles on my porch all the time for obvious reasons 🙂 And my porch is diiiiirty- you can blame the aforementioned yellow mutt for that, as well as the fact that we’re in red dirt country.

I did not decorate any of the back porch this year, as no one really goes out there or sees the back porch.

We hope you enjoyed the outside portion of our Christmas home tour!!
