Dining room decorating adventures

We are slowly but surely pulling together our dining room. We have a few short term things we plan to do, and a few long term plans as well.

We bought this gorgeous dining room set from Craigslist. We took the doors off the China cabinet to make it more like a hutch.

You really can’t see them, but I also found these great plates to hang on either side of the China cabinet. The milk can is from my grandparents.

A few months ago, I made this Fixer Upper-inspired “bakery” sign. I think it fits the space well.

We are still shopping for rugs for underneath the table, and we’re still looking for curtains.

I did finally find a large frame to frame a recent antique store purchase: this cattle feed bag from a feed mill that used to operate here in our hometown.

We are excited that our dining room is almost finished. Stay tuned for more updates!
