It all started when my grandpa gave me this old chair:
He gave it to me because I wanted an old chair to put a flower pot in, and hadn’t found anything I liked at the thrift shops.
I liked this chair, though, with its ladder back and its metal slats. I decided I wanted to paint it a color they would stand out.
I painted it bright yellow and then sanded it down with sandpaper to rough it up.
As you can see, I liked the metal slats but decided to remove them.
I wanted to add some chicken wire and a coconut liner to hold in the potting soil. To save money, we decided to use some landscape fabric instead since we already had it on hand.
I added in these lamb’s ear plants and I really love how much color and cuteness this project added to our greenhouse landing.
It will look a lot better when my plants perk up. It’s really hot here today.
Hope you like my plant chair!
