DIY Tips and Tricks: Get a new bedroom for less than $100

Our master bedroom had some good  things going for it, but overall, it was so boring.

I’ve long been admiring bedrooms in which the bed is the focal point, but with two windows and only a tiny wall between them, I wasn’t sure how to pull it off.

I decided to just go for it and see what happened.

Our dresser used to sit between the windows. I just flip flopped the bed and night stands with the dressers. I used the same furniture, curtains, and same bedding, which cost nothing. Then, I bought two new lamps, some new pillows, and some new lampshades. I also bought a throw.

We also had the bedding (except for those pillows and the throw) and the tray, books and greenery.

Eventually, we plan to buy an area rug and get new furniture. We also plan to paint the walls.

In total, I paid less than $75 for everything that you see here.

Not bad, huh?
