It started with a blank wall in the hallway of our old house and an idea that I had seen in a magazine.
In the picture, the person had taken several different pictures from significant events in their lives and had grouped them on a wall in order. At the time, we had one child, so I decided to include the following pictures: a picture when my husband and I were dating, an engagement picture, a wedding picture, a maternity picture, a newborn picture, and our first family portrait.
By the way, this is a narrow hallway, so it’s pretty near impossible to get good photos here. I apologize for that.
The wall has been like that ever since. But recently, I was looking around and realizing how few pictures we have of our new baby. I decided this wall needed updating, so I added our maternity picture, a newborn picture, and a sweet picture of both my girls.
I wish there were a better way to photograph this to show you. I’m loving the scale of this gallery wall and how it just seems to fit this wall perfectly. It’s already a difficult wall to work with due to the alarm keypad and the doorbell box.
Stay tuned for more updates, and an entirely different gallery wall project.
