She’s the strongest person I know. When I was in preschool, my mom was going through college, trying to get her nursing degree. At this time, my dad was diagnosed with cancer the first time. My mom attended college, worked full time, raised a preschool child and cared for a sick husband.
Now my mom is once again caring for my dad, who has stage four metastatic colorectal cancer. I watch her struggle, but I also watch her trust God and continue to be a faithful Christian . I am both amazed by her strength and proud of her resolve on a daily basis.
My mom has always supported me and encouraged me, even when she didn’t agree with my plans.
My mom has always prayed for me and with me.
Happy Mother’s Day to all of the Proverbs 31 mothers. We are blessed to be your children.
And Happy Mother’s Day to my mama!
