Make something Monday: farmhouse inspired candles

Today’s “make something Monday” is a quick and easy DIY idea that I actually got from a friend of ours at church. Last week when I was at her house I saw some really pretty candles and I thought I’d try to make them as well.

Mine aren’t as cute as hers but I do like how they turned out.

You will need burlap ribbon, lace, hot glue gun and glue (not pictured) and pillar candles.

Then, cut your burlap to size, wrap it around your candle and hot glue the ends together. Then you just got glue the lace on top of the burlap. Easy Peasy, right?

Just don’t burn your fingers like I did ☹️

I also tried using them on these pillar spindles but they’re a bit too small.

I will show you later this week how I’ve chosen to use these candles. Have a wonderful week!
