Milkglass and Roses

Remember last week when I wrote about my grandmother and all the milkglass she brought me?

As i was writing that post, I couldn’t help but be inspired by some of the photos I found.

I also fell in love with this pretty square vase that my grandmother brought.

I remembered I had these gorgeous faux flowers that once were in my daughter’s room.

When I put them together,   it was pure magic. OK, that might be exaggerating just a bit. But i really did love the result.

In what ways have you used family heirlooms in your daily Décor?

  1. It IS a beautiful idea! I have a bit of milkglass passed down from my husband’s grandparents. I’ve yet to actually use it for anything other than display every once in a while, but I just might have to do this soon! 🙂
