Room Refreshers: Our Master Bedroom

Sometimes we need small changes to make a room feel fresh and new. These changes don’t have to cost a dime- the best “room refreshes” I’ve ever done came from items I borrowed from other parts of my house.

Recently, our bedroom needed a little help.

I’ve had that B hanging above our bed for months. I like it, but hubby says it’s too small.  While I like the all white bed linens, we really needed some color.

I already had this yellow duvet and the matching pillowcases. My mother-in-law found this B for us and thought we would want it.  The white pillow was in the living room.

If you’re wondering why the B is off-center with the headboard, it’s because the bed isn’t in its normal spot. It is currently moved down, since the baby’s Pack ‘n’ Play is in our room. We wanted to put the B where the actual center of the bed will be when the Pack ‘n’Play is moved out.

Everything we did here cost nothing, and it adds so much to our room. If  you have a room that needs a little help, try shopping your own house first. You may be surprised at what you can find.
