Last weekend, we went to my grandparents’ house to visit and spend some time with my family.
Highlights of the trip were eating dinner with my aunts and uncles, and my daddy getting this huge, delicious rack of ribs.
My great aunt and great uncle came to visit. I don’t remember how long it’s been since I last saw them.
Doctors have told my dad there are no other treatment options and his cancer has advanced. We appreciate your prayers, cards and messages so much. He is feeling very tired and worn out.
My girls are doing well. We are counting down ththe days until I’m out of school.
In a little over two weeks, school will be out. We have lots of exciting things planned for this summer and I’m so excited.
We have a few projects we’re working on. The most significant are refreshes of our living room and master bedrooms. We’ve just recently completed some outdoor projects.
I have been participating in The Comparison Trap, which is a Bible study written by Sandra Stanley. I have one week left of it and I’ll be sad when it’s over. I’ve been so blessed.
