Scripture Sunday: 2 Corinthians 5:17

Happy Sunday to you. I hope your week is off to a wonderful start. I am excited to be back here for the third Sunday sharing my Bible Verses for the New Year series.

Each of the verses I am sharing accompanies one of my New Years resolutions.

Today’s verse is 2 Corinthians 5:17. The Lord has made his children a new creation.

2 Corinthians 5:17: Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. (NKJV)

I am far from perfect, but I spend so much of my energy trying to be. This year, I want to remember that while I’m not perfect, God has made me a new creation.

I am still human and I will certainly mess up and make mistakes, but I am not who I used to be before I knew the Lord.

This year I want to remember that no matter how many times I fall short, the Lord made me a new creation when he saved me.

Aren’t you thankful to be a new creation?

As always, if you want to download the printable above, right click and save to your device.
