I recently have begun a Bible study with about 250 other ladies in the blogger community. The Bible study is centered on the book The Comparison Trap by Sandra Stanley and it deals with something all women face, not just bloggers. That something would be “comparing ourselves to others.”
I know there will always be someone we admire and want to be like, or even someone we’re jealous of. We may even base our self worth on how much we can be like them.
God didn’t want us to compare ourselves to anyone, for we are fearfully and wonderfully made. He formed us individually in the womb and he created us for a specific purpose.
We are His children and he has set us apart.
Remember this week when you want to get trapped in the Comparison game that you are unique and wonderful with your own unique and wonderful purpose.
I encourage you to read this book- I’ve only just started and I’m learning so much.
Have a wonderful week.
