Wordfull Wednesday

It took me an embarrassingly long time to learn today’s quote. I not only wish I’d learned it at a younger age, but I wish more people would learn it.

I bet all of us can think of a person or a situation in which someone stirred the pot and we (meaning ourselves) or others didn’t react in the best way.

I have recently been doing a bit of a whole life makeover. Spirituality and faith came first. I’m studying my Bible and talking to God more. I’ve started exercising 30 minutes daily. I no longer eat gluten or sugar and I follow a balanced diet. I’m out of the smartphone and more in the moment. We eat at home more and eat out less.

One of the first things I chose to do was examine who I spend my time with. I have noticed I am a happier and more positive person when I avoid people with negative attitudes and negative behaviors.

But if you can’t avoid those people, you can limit your time with them. You can’t change them but you can change how you react to them. And you can always pray for them.

Happy Wednesday my friends. May you be blessed.
