“Don’t give up.” Our school is focusing a lot on growth mindset and believing in yourself, which is awesome. It isn’t just great watching children believe in themselves, but some of the materials we have used speak to me as well.
I chose this quote for our Wordfull Wednesday because I liked the message: fall seven times and get up eight.
Has anyone reading here ever failed at something? I’ve got a ton of failures under my belt. I have too many to count.
I may have failed at my first career and I may have failed with my plans to become a published author, but if those things had worked out for me, I can’t imagine how my life would be different right now. I didn’t give up, though, and I’m glad I didn’t. I had no idea what my future held, and it held some pretty wonderful surprises.
I think it turned out pretty great, regardless of my mistakes.
Don’t give up, people. Stand up one more time than you fall. It’s worth it and so are you.
